The energy that the world needs
If the energy the world demanded in 2019 was completely derived from oil then it had to be put in 100 billion barrels of crude oil; a barrel of oil contains 158,99 litre of oil; it takes approximately 63 kilogram of CO2 to deliver one litre of oil at a refinary... how fast do we NEED how fast do we WANT to get rid of this?
The sun delivers (directly) per year 10,000 times the yearly energy demand of the world to the outside of our atmosphere. And 45% of it reaches the surface. (Add to this the indirectly produced wind energy.) We can't just ignore that. Almost greenhouse free energy.
But we need a world approach.
There is plenty for all.
Terms and conditions:
- Convert 4% of the energy from fossil fuels to solar per year to be teady by 2050
- Stop all (tribal) wars e stopped as soon as possible
- Re-educate autocrats and plutocrats
- Not only plan production and distribution of solar energy fairly; plan and execute all together
- If AI is to save the world then lots of electricity is needed and the sun will provide us with it
Possibilities for clean transport of energy through hydrogen thanks to... hydrogen.
Any suggestions on how we can make the gouvernments of the world to “COOPERATE” in harvesting solar power (or/and wind power) acting as true neighbours?
